Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The %% employer did not furnish employmnent and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Plains Road, Litchfield, Me - Employees did not utilize the following when handing material up to a person working in close proximity to a live power line (7200 volts). The following methods could be utilized to eliminate the hazard. Such methods could include the use of a hand line, tool bucket or by lowering the personnel bucket to the ground.
