29 CFR 1926.154(a)(1): The employer shall supply fresh air in sufficient quantities to maintain the health and safety of workers: (a)The building under construction was being heated by temporary heating devices that produce carbon monoxide. Other sources of carbon monoxide include trucks concrete finishers, powered lifts and other fuel powered equipment. A fresh air supply was not ensured in that carbon monoxide levels monitored exceeded 50 parts per million (ppm) throughout work areas of the building. Certification, with date and method of abatement required. Certification of abatement is required by 29 CFR Part 1903 and is to be submitted within ten (10) calendar days after the abatement date.ment
