Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a) The Hazard of falling from a height of between 25 and 29 feet due to inadequately braced trusses. "AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT METHOD TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS...." Follow the handling, installing and bracing recommendations for metal plate connected wood trusses as described in the most recent addition of HIB-91 from the Truss Plate institute, or the bracing recommendations of a registered professional engineer.
