Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: (A) At the speedometer workbench the Sioux pedestal grinder showed evidence of grinding on the side of the wheel. A feasible method to control this hazard is to instruct employees immediately to not grind on the side of the wheel and to explain to the employees the potential for serious injury or death in the event of an exploding wheel.ing
