Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employmnent and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: (A) The Black and Decker bench grinder and Jet Electric pedistal grinder wheels both showed evidence of side grinding on the wheels. Note: A feasible and useful means to control this hazard is to forbid the practice of side wheel grinding and to educate employees in the potential for fatal injury in the event of side grinding causing an exploding wheel.ing
