Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not furnish
employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized
hazards that were causing or
likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that
employees were exposed to:
(a)  Pittsburgh, PA, Pittsburgh Hilton Hotel, Ballroom Number 2;
Employees were
exposed to a fall hazard of up to 16 feet in that employees were not
trained in the safe
and proper operation of the Genie Personnel Lift, Model Number unknown,
Serial
Number unknown.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is to
implement a training program on the Genie Personnel Lift in accordance
with the manufacturer and ANSI
A92-3 recommendations.

the Genie Personnel Lift with all outriggers in place.
