were exposed to burns and smoke inhalation while operating a Gehnrich
induction heating
oven/furnace:
WORKSHOP:  On or about Tuesday; October 07, 2003, the inside temperature
of the Gehnrich
induction oven/furnace was rising rapidly during the first baking cycle
for the metal pump that
was placed on a wooden skid/pallet which was caught on fire exposing the
employees to the
hazards associated with fire.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this
hazard is to:
1)  Install high temperature control and limit device.
2)  Use the skids made of noncombustible material.
3)  Use other engineering feasibility.
4)  Inspect all safety control devices.
5)  Establish and implement the standard operating procedures.
6)  Train the operators in the standard operating procedures.
