Follow the American National Standard Institute (ANSI)/The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) B30.16-1993; Overhead hoists (Underhung) guide lines for inspections, maintenance, and operations of the overhead hoist. 6.Train the operators in the proper use and recognition of "defective" parts of the hoist/crane.
