Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The %% employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: (a)Chassis Line, Department 200, Axle Mate - Employees are required to work under suspended axles while bolting the axles to the springs, on or about September 26, 1994. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to utilize a stand to support the axle while the bolts are being installed. THE EMPLOYER WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OR SIMILAR OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ADMINISTRATION STANDARD WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN ITEM NUMBER 1 OF THE CITATION NUMBER 1 ISSUED ON OCTOBER 19, 1993.
