JOBSITE:  ROOF TRUSSES BEING ERECTED WERE HELD IN PLACE BY SHORT
LENGTHS OF FURING STRIPS AND PIECES OF PLYWOOD.
AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT
METHOD IS TO INSTALL ADEQUATE TEMPORARY LATERAL AND DIAGONAL
BRACING DURING ERECTION OF THE ROOF TRUSSES.  THIS BRACING SHOULD BE
DONE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TRUSS PLATE INSTITUTE "HIB-91 SUMMARY
SHEET" RECOMMENDATIONS FOR HANDLING AND INSTALLING WOOD TRUSSES.
