Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that the employer
did not provide training to all employees who operate machinery such as,
but not limited to:
Sherwood Hot Cup Machine, Peerless Plate Machine and Cold Cup forming
machines:
(a) Facility, Shop Area: Maintenance employees, who are occasionally
required
to operate the Sherwood Hot Cup Machine, Peerless Plate Machine, Cold Cup
forming machine and the waxers were not provided training by the employer
in
accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Among other methods one feasible abatement method is to institute a
training program
for all employees who are required to operate the Sherwood Hot Cup
Machine, Peerless
Plate Machine, Cold Cup forming machine and the waxers.
