Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish employmnent and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees
were exposed to:
(a)the hazards of being struck by falling portions of the hoisted load
and/or
crane structure of the Drott Go-Devil Hydraulic Crane, Serial No. 1313,
located in the main yard area.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is
to provide a load rating chart for mobile hydraulic cranes, as specified
in Paragraph 15-1.1.3
and Paragraph 15-1.9.1 of the American National Standards Institute
B30.15-1973, Mobile
Hydraulic Cranes.
