dielectric heaters, were
exposed to radiofrequency (RF) radiation in excess of the American
Conference of Governmental
Hygienists (ACGIH) 1997 Radiofrequency and Microwave Radiation Threshold
Limit Values
(TLV).  A).  An employee operating the thermatron .5kW dielectric heater
at 40.5 MHz was
exposed to 274 volts/meter (V/M) electric field strength, 4.5 times the
TLV of 61.4 V/M.  B).
An employee operating the thermatron .8kW at 28 MHZ was exposed to 101
V/M. 1.5 times
the TLV 66 V/M.  C).  An employee operating the thermatron 6 kW at 29.84
