ORS654.010: The employer did not furnish a place of employment which was safe and healthful for employees, and did not do every other thing reasonably necessary to protect the life, safety, and health of the employees: (a) A McFarland Door Manufacturing Company Inc. employee was exposed to injury while operating the Mattison straight line rip saw, model 404 (S/N 24072). Adequate engineering controls were not instituted to preclude exposure to kick-backs while the machine was being fed.
