Stat. 182.653 subd. 2: The employer did not furnish to each employee, conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards which caused or were likely to cause death or serious injury to employees: The IMT AF 10 drill rig was operated on November 30, 1998 without adequately trained or experienced operators. Abatement guidelines: 1) Develop a training program for drill rig operators thatfollows the operating manual. 2) Have operators demonstrate proficiency and then document this training.
