Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the establishment: A non-smoking and NO-SMOKING signs policy was not set up by the employer according to what is prescribed in the Act Number 40 concerning tobacco and tobacco based products use in places of employment, in order to control The hazard of respiratoty diseases. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to advance Act Number 40 compliance. En el establecimiento: Una politica de no fumar y rotulos de NO-FUMAR no fue puesta en practica por el patrono de acuerdo a lo estatuido por la Ley numero 40 concerniente al uso de tabaco y productos derivados del tabaco usados en los lugares de empleo, para el control del riesgo de enfermedades respiratorias. Entre otros metodos, un metodo accesible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es implementar el cumplimiento de la Ley 40.
