Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the sanitary facilities of the establishment: Sanitary paper for use by employees was not provided by the employer at the toilet facilities, exposing the employees to the hazard of infectious diseases, from non sanitary conditions. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to develop a maintenance program of the sanitary facilities, such that sanitary paper be provided with respect to its daily use. En las facilidades sanitarias del establecimiento: Papel sanitario para uso por los empleados no fue provisto por el patrono en los inodoros, exponiendo a los empleados al riesgo de enfermedades infecciosas, por condiciones no sanitarias. Entre otros metodos, un metodo accesible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es desarrollar un programa de mantenimiento de las facilidades sanitarias, tal que el papel sanitario sea provisto con respecto a su uso diario.o

Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the establishment: It was observed that a fifteen height feet (15) wood canopy next to the wagons number 1 and 2, where the employees meet to receive the daily job duties orders, pray the Lord and celebrate a variety of activities job related, was damaged with broken wood build-up girders and sections of plywood panels deteriorated, menacing to colapse and fall; exposing the employees to the hazard of serious to fatal fracture injuries of the head and back, from downfall and impact of the canopy. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to dismantle and construct anew the canopy. En el establecimiento: Se observo que un cobertizo de madera anexo entre los vagones numero 1 y 2, de quince (1) pies de altura, donde los empleados se reunen para recibir las ordenes de trabajo diario, oran al Senor y llevan a cabo una variedad de actividades relacionadas con el trabajo, estaba deteriorado con vigas de madera ensamblada al cobertizo rotas y secciones de paneles de madera multilaminar deteriorados, amenazando con colapsar y desplomarse; exponiendo a los empleados al riesgo de lesiones serias a fatales de la cabeza y la espalda por desplome e impacto del cobertizo. Entre otros metodos, un metodo accesible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es desmantelar y construir de nuevo el cobertizo.
