Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the establishment, despatch area- a fixed wood stair of 5 risers, 27" width, and 39" high which gave access from the despatch area to the store was broke and moved side to side when the employees used it. Among others methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to repair or build a new fixed stair. Hazard- fall. En el establecimiento, area de despacho- una escalera permanente de madera de 5 contra huellas, 27" de ancho y 39" de alto, la cual daba acceso del area de despacho a la tienda estaba rota y se movia de lado a lado cuando era usada por los empleados. Entre otros metodos, uno factible y aceptable metodo de correccion este riesgo es reparar o construir una escalera permanente nueva. Riesgo- caida.-
