Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the employer project warehouse: Where one employee using sport footwear was observed loading a 200 pounds tamper trademark Wacker to a pickup vehicle trademark Ford Ranger XLT, register 533083, the employer did not ensure that each affected employee used protective footwear where such employee's feet were exposed to foot injuries due to falling or rolling objects. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to provide the affected employee with protective steel toe footwear. En el almacen del proyecto del patrono: Donde un empleado usando calzado deportivo fue observado cargando una apisonadora marca Wacker, de 200 libras de peso, a un camion ligero de carga marca Ford Ranger XLT, tablilla 533083, el patrono no aseguro que cada empleado afectado usara calzado protector, donde los pies de este empleado estaban expuestos a lesiones debidas a objetos en caida o rodantes. Entre otros metodos, un metodo accesible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es proveer al empleado afectado con calzado protector con puntera de acero.
