Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
Production area - employees were using one grinding machine constructed at
the job site.  The
machine did not meet the reuirement of section 1910.215.
Among other methods of abatement one feasible and acceptable method is to
provide one
grinding ma;chine with the requirement above mentioned.
Hazard: Particles can hit operator if wheel brake.
Area de produccion - empleados usando una maquina esmeriladora construida
en el lugar de
trabajo.  La maquina no reune los requisitos de la seccion 1910.215.
Entre otros metodos uno aceptable y factible para corregir es proveer una
maquina esmeriladora
con los requisitos antes mencionados.
Riesgo: Particulas pueden golpear al operador si la rueda se rompe.
