Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
In the followings offices - Account Unit and Criminal Secretary, in rainy
days that offices were
filled with water coming outside manhole.
Among other methods, one feasible and aceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is to
fix the outside manhole.
Hazard: Falls and bacterial diseases.
En las siguientes oficinas - Unidad de Cuentas y Secretaria Criminal, en
los dias de lluvia estas
oficinas se llenan de agua por un registro en la parte exterior del
edificio.
Entre otros metodos, uno accesible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo
es destapar el registro
de afuera.
Riesgos: Caidas y enfermedades bacteriales.

In the Civil Area Office - the ceiling between two electrical lamps had
parts of the cement
opening, appear like it's going to break down the cement, and also the
ceiling had filtering.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazards is
to seal and plaster the hold ceiling of the office.
Hazard: Strokes, fall and fractures.
En la Oficina del Area Civil - en techo entre dos lampas electricas tenian
partes del cemento
rotas, aparentando como si se fuese a caer el cemento, y tambien el techo
tenia filtraciones.
Entre otros metodos, uno accesible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo
es sellar y empachetar
todo el techo de la oficina.
Riesgo: Golpes, caidas y fracturas.
