At the establishment: It were observed five (5) instances in which
fissured sections on
the ceiling structure in the second level of the building posed the hazard
of slippings and
falls on rainy days:
a. At the classroom number 21;
b. at the classroom number 22;
c. At the classroom number 23;
d. At the classroom number 24 and,
e. At the second floor walkways.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this
hazard is to restore anew the ceiling with concrete and sealing compound.
En el establecimiento: Se observaron cinco (5) casos en los cuales
secciones requebradas
en la estructura del techo en el segundo nivel del edificio constituyeron
un riesgo de
resbalones y caidas en dias lluviosos:
a. En el salon de clases numero 21;
b. En el salon de clases numero 22;
c. En el salon de clases numero 23;
d. en el salon de clases numero 24 y,
e. En los pasillos del segundo piso.
Entre otros metodos, un metodo accesible y aceptable para corregir este
riesgo es reparar
de nuevo el techo con cemento y compuesto sellador.

correct thois
hazard is to remove the paint, clean the floors, and to paint anew the
affected areas of
the structure.
En el establecimiento: Pintura disuelta debida a percolacion pluvial fue
observada en el
piso de los salones de clases 21, 22, 23, 24 y en los pasillos del segundo
nivel del
edificio, lo cual constituyo un riego de resbalones y caidas en dias
lluviosos.
Entre otros metodos, un metodo accesible y aceptable para corregir este
riesgo es
remover la pintura, limpiar los pisos, y pintar de nuevo las areas
afectadas de la
estructura.

percolated pluvial
entered and accumulated in the wireways and within the lampholders of the
luminaries
next to the entrance doors of classrooms number 22 and 23, respectively,
exposing the
employees to the hazard of serious face and eye injuries, from explosion
of
the neon
tubes.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this
hazard is to seal the wireways and renew the damaged luminaries.
En el establecimiento: Se observaron dos (2) casos en los cuales percolado
pluvial entro
y se acumulo en los conductos de los cables y dentro de los portalamparas
de las
luminarias proximas a las puertas de entrada de los salones de clases
numero 22 y 23,
respectivamente, exponiendo a los empleados al riesgo de lesiones serias
de la cara y los
ojos, por explosion de los tubos de neon.
Entre otros metodos, un metodo accesible y aceptable para corregir reste
riesgo es sellar
los conductos de los cables y reemplazar las luminarias danadas.
