Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the establishment: Fissured sections of the ceiling in levels 1 and 2 of the structure were observed with posed the hazard of slippings and falls on rainy days. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazards is to restore a new the ceiling with concrete and sealing compound. En el establecimiento: Se observaron secciones requebradas del techo de la estructura en los niveles 1 y 2 constituyendo un riesgo de resbalones y caidas en dias lluviosos. Entre otros metodos, un metodo accesible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es reparar el nuevo techo con cemento y compuesto sellador.

Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the establishment automotive body shop workshop materials and equipment storage area: It were observed four (4) instances in which gypsum wallboard columns used to support four (4) closed integrated electric circuit metal boxes identified as Ps-7, CS-7, FA-7 and TTc-8; were observed with black stains with possible growth of fungus due to accumulated humidity from water filtration to the interior of the structure, expising the employees to the hazard of respiratory tract diseases. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to eliminate the gypsum wallboard columns and replace them with concrete blocks. En el area de equipo y materiales del salon taller de hojalateria y pintura del establecimento: Se observaron cuatro (4) columnas de carton de yeso usadas como sosten de cuatro (4) cajas metalicas con circuitos electricos integrados cerrados identificados como Ps-7, Cs-7, FA-7 y TTc-8; fueron observadas con manchas negras con posible crecimiento de hongos debido a la humedad acumulada por filtracion de agua al interior de la estructura, exponiendo a los empleados al riesgo de enfermedades de las vias respiratorias. Entre otros metodos, un metodo accesible y acceptable para corregir este riesgo es eliminar las columnas de carton de yeso y reemplazarlas por bloques de cemento.
