Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a. Receive injuries in that employees were exposed to hazards of falling due to unsafe stepping on a (a) corrugated containers, 8 feet long x 4 feet wide; 103 inches in height from floor (b) multi-purpose duct wrap rolls, 48" inches long x 18" inches diameter, 50 lbs weight aproximately, to stored and accomodate 60 rools up to 18 feet height aprox from floor. A feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard among other methods is to used mechanical high lift handling equipment. a. Recibir lesiones en que empleados estaban expuestos a riesgos de caida debido a pisar inseguro en (a) contenedores corrugados, 8 pies de largo x 4 pies ancho; 103" pulg. alto desde el piso (b) rollos envolturas ducto multiuso, 48" pulgadas largo x 18" pulgadas. diametro, 50 lbs peso aproximadamente a almacenar y acomodar 60 rollos hasta 18 pies alto aproximadamente del piso. Un metodo entre otros metodos, aceptable y posible para corregir este riesgo es usar equipo mecanico de almacenaje alto.
