Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
At the Pedregales Proyect at House E-8, employee was standing in the
bucket atached
to the forks of the Sky Track, the bucket was raised 8 feet of heigth from
the ground
level.  The employee was fixing craks on the outside walls of the house.
Hazard:  Falls.
Among other feasible methods to correct this hazard are the use of
ladders, manlift,
scaffolds or other secure method.
En el Proyecto Pedregales en la casa E-8, empleado estaba parado en el
cajon que se le
acopla a las orquetas (dedos) del Sky Track, el cajon estaba elevado a 8
pies de altura
desde el nivel del piso.  El empleados estaba arreglando grietas de las
paredes exteriores
de la casa.  Riesgo: Falls.  Entre otros metodos para corregir este riego
esta el uso de
escaleras, "manlifts", andamios y otros metodos seguros.
