Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the Fire Station, Puerto Nuevo: The employer permitted that the firefighters traveled over the step at the back side of the tank truck when this practice was not allowed by the manufacturer. Hazard: Falls. En lal Estacion de Bomberos, Puerto Nuevo: El patrono permitio que los bomberos viajaran en el estribo en la parte trasera del camion tanque cuando esta practica no estaba permitida por el manufacturero. Riesgo: Caidas. Among other methods, some methods feasible and acceptable to correct this hazard are the adquisition of double cab trucks, or another vehicle to accomodate the remaining fire fighters. Entre otros metodos, varios metodos factibles y aceptables para corregir este riesgo son la adquisicion de camiones de cabina doble u otro vehiculo para acomodar los restantes bomberos.
