Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the Fire Station, San Jose: The employer permitted that the fire fighters traveled over the step at the back side of the tank truck when this practice was not allowed by the manufacturer. Hazard: Falls. Among other methods, some feasible and acceptable methods to correct this hazards are the adquisition of double cab trucks or another vehicle to accomodate the remaining firefighters. En la Estacion de Bomberos, San Jose: El patrono permitio que los bomberos viajaran en el estribo en la parte trasera del camion tanque cuando esta practica no esta permitida por el manufacturero. Riesgo: Caidas. Entre otros metodos, varios metodos factibles y aceptables para corregir este riesgo son la adquisicion de camiones de cabina doble u otro vehiculo para acomodar los restantes bomberos.
