similar or related hazards that may increase the potential for injury
resulting from an accident.
Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which
were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause
death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were
exposed to the hazard of being struck by a crane suspended load:
(a)  American revolver crane used to load 25 pipes banded together
from a rail car to barges located on the licking river main
terminal of the facility moved the load over the heads of
the employees on the rail cars and the barge exposing the
employees to the hazard of being struck by a falling load.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method of
abatementis for the employer not to allow the employees to
work under a load suspended from a crane.
