Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The %% employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were permitted to fall hazards: a) Employee(s) (Jump Master) is exposed to fall hazards when suspended in a man basket by a Grove 35-T, Hydraulic Truck Crane, located at Route 1, Rehoboth Beach, DE; 6-6-92 Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to follow the crane manufacturer's recommendations to discontinue using the crane for the lifting of personnel in man baskets.
