Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which
were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause
death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were
exposed to the hazards of fire/explosion due to lack of a separate
aluminum dust collection system:
a.  Shop - The dry dust collection system was used for aluminum
as well as steel; dust from this system was not disposed of on
a daily basis.
ABATEMENT NOTE:  Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable
means of abatement to correct the hazard is to install an aluminum
dust collection system in accordance with NFPA 65 - Standard for the
Processing and Finishing of Aluminum.
