Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall hazards: a) Hog Pen, South Wall - forklift truck driver left a "White" forklift truck (model #51571013) unattended with an employee suspended in a work platform approximately 13 feet above the ground. Observed 3/16/88 Abatement Note: A feasible and practical method to correct this hazard among other methods is to have employee remain on fork truck or use a scaffold.
