Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a) Underside(s) of conveyor(s) were not adequately enclosed where they passed over a main aisleway, work area, or passageway to prevent the falling of product, broken chains, or other material at Line Number 7 overhead bottle conveyor. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to extend existing catch platform to adjacent equipmetn on in- feed side of conveyor turn-around and outward aiselway on the out-feed side.
