Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a) Job Site Employee was exposed to the hazards of being caught-in the rotating parts of a Rigid 300 electric pipe threader that was not provided with a constant pressure foot treadle control switch, as required by American National Standards Institute B208.1-1982, section 4.4.,which is one feasible and acceptable method of abatement. Violation occurred on or about 5/27/97d
