were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to

were exposed to:
(a)East side of the building, Employees were observed working in an
elevated work platform (scissor lift), exposed to a fall of ten feet
as the work platform was not fully enclosed at one end with a top
and mid rail.  On or about 02/04/97.
ABATEMENT NOTES:
Among other methods,one feasible method to reduce this hazard is to
1.Train the operators to comply with the ANSI standard A92-6-1979 section
14.2.2
(5) which states before each elevation of the work platform the operator
shall
ensure the guard rails are properly installed and gates or openings are
closed.s
