ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS REQUIRED AS OUTLINED IN PART 29 CFR 1903.19
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this
hazard is to:
1.Utilize only platforms designed for elevating personnel with forklifts.
These platforms
must meet the requirements set forth in ANSI/ASME B56.1-1993 such as, but
not limited
to, fall protection for employees.
2.Train all employees about the hazards of falls associated with improper
elevating methods
and proper application and use of safety platforms.
ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS REQUIRED AS OUTLINED IN PART 29 CFR 1903.19D
