Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the work area: Automobile lift trademark Bishamon, model SP-7 and serial number B9307803, used by employees, did have the electrical lift switch control modified without prior and written consent of the manufacturer. The automobile lift was used without the automatic return control switch. Hazard: Failure of lifting mechanism. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard, is the installation of the electric automatic return control switch in accordance to manufacturer specifications. En el area de trabajo: Elevador de autos marca Bishamon, modelo SP-7 y numero de serie B9307803, usado por empleados, tenia el interruptor del control electrico de levantamiento modificado sin el consentimiento previo y por escrito del manufacturero. El elevador de autos era usado sin el interruptor de control de retroceso automatico. Riesgo: Fallo en el mecanismo de levantamiento. Entre otros metodos, un metodo factible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo, es la instalacion del interruptor de control de retroceso automatico de acuerdo a las especificaciones del manufacturero.es

Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the establishment, east and south exterior work area: Automobile lifts trademark Bishamon, model SP-7 and serial numbers B9307007 and B9307008, used by employees, did have the safety locking device defective. The automobile lifts were used without the locking device engaged in safety position. Hazard: Failure of lifting mechanism. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard, is the reparation of the device that hold the lift in the fully extended position and establish periodic inspection procedures as recommended by the manufacturer. En el establecimiento, area de trabajo exterior este y sur: Elevadores de autos marca Bishamon, modelo SP-7 y numeros de serie B9307007 y B9307008, usado por empleados, tenian el dispositivo de seguridad defectuoso. Los elevadores de autos eran usados sin el dispositivo de seguridad enganchado en posicion segura. Riesgo: Fallo en el mecanismo de levantamiento. Entre otros metodos, un metodo factible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo, es la reparacion del dispositivo que sujeta el elevador en la posicion extendida completa y establecer procedimientos de inspeccion periodicos segun recomendado por el manufacturero.
