Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
In the first floor of the Republic of Salvador Community School were an
water sewage
overflow, that arrived to the office, rooms, dining room and hallway.  The
employees
walked over the water sewage.  The employees were observed performing
administrative,
clerical and educational tasks.
Hazard: Contact with water sewage.
Among other correction methods, some feasible and acceptable methods to
correct this
hazard are the following:
a) Repair the sanitary registry of the principal street, in joint with
personal of A.A.A.
b) Change the sanitary pipes in the school.
En el primer piso de la Escuela de la Comunidad Republica del Salvador,
habia un
desbordamiento de aguas negras, que llegaba a la oficina, el comedor,
pasillo y salones.
Los empleados caminaban sobre las aguas negras.  Los empleados fueron
observados
realizando tareas administrativas, clericales y educativas.
Riesgo: Contacto con aguas negras.
Entre otros metodos de correccion, varios metodos factibles y aceptables
para corregir
este riesgo se encuentran los siguientes:
a) Arreglar el registro sanitario de la calle principal, en union con
personal de A.A.A.
b) Cambiar las tuberias sanitarias en la escuela.as
