Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
At the trailer, used as a kindergarten room, at the Arturo Somohano
School; it had
evidence of water spots on the ceiling and in the walls, due to water
ceiling filtrations.
The employee was performing educational tasks.
Hazard: Slips and falls.
Among other correction method, one feasible and acceptable to correct this
hazard, is
repair the ceiling.
En el vagon, utilizado como salon de "kindergarten", en la escuela Arturo
Somohano;
existia evidencia de manchas de agua en el techo y las paredes, debido a
las filtraciones
de agua en el techo. La empleada se encontraba realizando tareas
educativas.
Riesgo: Resbalones y caidas.
Entre otros metodos de correccion, uno factible y aceptable para corregir
este riesgo, es
reparar el techo.r
