Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At "Cuerpo de Bomberos de Puerto Rico-Estacion Metropolitana", firemans stay the night in the rest rooms of the second floor and used the bathing facilities. Were observed removed acustics, spotted acustic due humidity and the aislation of the air conditioner ducts deteriorated due the humidity too. In interview to employees indicated that the floor takes wet with drops from the ceiling. The employees that used the bathroom performed fireman duties. Hazard: Slips, falls. Among other correction method, one feasible and acceptable to correct this hazard is repair the ceiling. En Cuerpo de Bomberos de Puerto Rico-Estacion Metropolitana, bomberos pernoctaban en los dormitorios del segundo piso y utilizan las facilidades del bano. Se observaron acusticos removidos, acusticos manchados por la humedad y aislacion de los conductos del acondicionador del aire deteriorados. En entrevista a empleados indicaron que el piso se moja por goteras que provienen del techo. Los empleados que utilizaban el bano realizaban tareas de bombero. Riesgo: Resbalones, caidas. Entre otros metodos de correccion, uno factible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es reparar el techo.r
