Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the National Insurance building in the flat roof especifically in the roof of the elevator room to a height of approximately of 150 feet. There were two employees without a safety belt. They were colocating a rope from one side to the other to install a scaffold. The employer did not provide training to employees who might be exposed to a fall hazard. Hazard: Fall. Among other correction methods, one feasible and aceptable to correct this hazard is to provide a complete training about fall protection and the correct use of a safety belt. En el edificio del "National Insurance" en la azotea especificamente en el techo del cuarto de maquina a una altura aproximadamente de 150 pies. Habian dos empleados trabajando sin cinturon de seguridad. Ellos estaban colocando una soga de un lado al otro para instalar un andamio. El patrono no proveyo adiestramiento de proteccion contra caidas para los empleados que pudieran estar expuestos a riesgos de caidas. Riesgo: Caidas. Entre otros metodos de correccion, uno factible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es proveer un adiestramiento completo de proteccion contra caidas y el uso correcto del cinturon de seguridad.
