Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall hazards: (a) Jobsite, 150 Thornhill Road, Cranberry Township, PA 16066: The following deficiencies on the Snorkel Lift (Model A50) existed exposing employees to fall hazards of approximately 40 feet: 1. Attachment points were not provided for fall protection. 2. No operation and maintenance manuals were on site and available for review. 3. No pre-job inspection records were available for review. 4. Employees were not specifically trained on the safe and proper operation of the Snorkel Lift (Model A50).
