hoist. The operator of the hoist was not trained in the capabilities and
load limits
of the hoist, and the monthly hoist inspections were not thorough and
written
reports on the overhead hoists were incomplete.
Among other methods to correct this hazard is to develop a training
program in
accordance with the hoist manufacturer's recommendations which addresses
employee
training and documented maintenance.
