Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
a.  Receive solar burns or illness due to the bad weather.  The employer
did not provide
a way of protection against the solar rays and rainy days for the guards
in charge to
protect the north part of the facilities.  Among others methods, one
feasible and
acceptable method to correct this hazard is built a small house to provide
protection
against solar rays and rainy days.
a.  Recibir quemaduras solares o enfermedades causadas por las
inclemencias del tiempo.
El patrono no proveyo un medio de proteccion contra los rayos solares y la
lluvia para
los guardias encargados de velar la parte norte de la facilidad.  Entre
otros metodos, un
metodo aceptable para corregir este riesgo es construir una caseta para
que los empleados
puedan guarecerse.
