Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
a.  Receive injuries due to inadequate ilumination in the Secretary
Office, and kidnap
office.  These offices, 15 long x 11' wide x 10 high, use 40 watts ligts
(lamps are 5'
large x 6" wide).  One feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct
this hazard
is to replace the light for 75 or 100 watts.
a.  Recibir lesiones debido a una iluminacion inadecuada en la oficina de
la Secretaria
y en la oficina de robos.  Estas oficinas de 15' largo x 11' ancho x 10'
de alto, usan
luices de 40 watts (bombillas son de 5' largo x 6" ancho).  Un metodo
correctivo posible
y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es reemplazar las luces por otras de
75 o 100 watts.
