Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a. Receive fractures or low back injuries due to the moving of a heavy metal main gate, 16' long X 6' high, which was broken, out of his rail and with earth obstruction on it. Among other methods. one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to install an automatic control to open the gate or change it for a light one easy to move and save. a. Recibir fracturas o lesion de la espalda baja debido al movimiento del porton principal, de metal pesado, de 16'de largo X 6' alto, el cual esta roto, fuera de su riel, estando el mismo obstruido por la tierra. Fracturas o lesion espalda baja. De entre otros metodos correctivos, uno factible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es instalar un control automatico para abrir el porton o cambiar el porton por uno de material mas liviano, y facil de mover y seguro.
