Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a. Receive injuries due to use in an incorrect way an earthmoving equipment, Ford 555 D, to lift a compactor equipment of 3 tons. to a truck. Employees were exposed to overturn of the equipment and be impacted by it. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to use a lifting machine to do the job. a. Recibir lesiones debido al uso incorrecto de un equipo de remover tierra, Ford 555 D para levantar un equipo compactador de tierra de 3 toneladas y colocarlo en el camion. Empleados fueron expuestos a que se volcara el equipo y ser impactados . Entre otros metodos, uno seguro y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es usar un equipo de levantar para este trabajo.
