hooks, controls,
limit stops, chains, suspension members, brakes, load and idler sprockets
and supporting
structure or trolley which collectively lift loads.
Among other methods, a feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct
this hazard
is to comply with the safe operating procedures and inspection
requirements recommended
by the manufacturer and the ASME/ANSI B30.16 such as, but not limited to:
The company can use the ASME/ANSI  the American Society of Mechanical
Engineers/ American National Standards Institute ASME B30.16-1993 (Overhead
Hoist (Underhung)), but will have to assure that a qualified person
perform the
inspections, maintains the upkeep of hoists; and trains the operators to
perform
daily service checks.

proper
upkeep
