Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to electrical shock: (a) Location - Kitchen: On or about 8/13/98, employees were exposed to electrical shock from cord and plug connected equipment used in a wet location, i.e., plugged into the outlets on the wall at the sink. Among other means, one feasible means to abate this hazard would be to install ground fault circuit interrupters in these wall outlets.ters
