Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees
were exposed to the condition(s) listed below:
Classic Cattle Company, West I40, Wildorado, Tx, for the time period up to
and including April
6, 1999.
On April 6, 1999, the beaters located on the Oswalt Ensilfeeder 1000 were
not guarded to
prevent accidental contact. One possible method of guarding would be to
place a mesh on top
of the truck bed sufficient to prevent accidental contact with the beaters.
