Section 5(a)(1) of Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free of recognized hazards that were causing or were likely to death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard of fire wall collapse due to inadequate bracing with high wind blowing towards the wall. The wall was approximately 42 feet long, 10 feet high and 2000 lbs. in weight. Among other means, one feasible method of abatement is to provide adequate wall bracing which includes provisions for gusty or high wind conditions.
